Lakeside Village is located approximately 9km. east of Wheatley, Ontario on theTalbot Trail, and is a privately owned facility consisting of 71 campsites and 13 motel rooms. Located High on a Bluff, this campground is ideal for a relaxing view of Lake Erie and the occasional fishing trawler plying their trade.... or you can go down the lighted steps for a refreshing swim at the private beach. At night the stars seem close and bright, and you can see the glow of the lights from Ohio across the lake. Come join us for a quiet, relaxing retreat!

Our facility overlooks beautiful Lake Erie, High on a bluff in Southwestern Ontario. Previous guests have defined this place as "A Hidden Gem" and a "Perfect Stopover for Birdwatchers." A clean and well maintained vacation destination. Relax and enjoy the cool breeze while looking at the spectacular view. Bird watching areas are located close by at Point Pelee National Park, Hillman Marsh and Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary. Other places of interest include: Colasanti's Tropical Gardens, Pelee Island Ferry, Talbot Trail Golf Course, Wheatley, Tilbury & Leamington Stores, just to mention a few! We can accommodate a variety of camping units, or if you prefer you may stay in our comfortable, air conditioned motel. The recently remodeled Motel is affordable and has many amenities, such as Housekeeping rooms that feature full kitchens with all utensils included.
